Matt Even Works While He’s On Vacation
A Frustrating Day Thus Far
Generally I’m writing posts on how you can make some money or how to market yourself better but today is different. I’ve been working on a project for a better part of the day but do to the fact that I’m not at home (I’m on vacation & it’s driving me nuts) I’m not making very much progress on it as of yet. All my photoshop & video editing software is located on my home computer. On the up side of things I do have basically everything done that doesn’t require any use of photoshop or videos though.
I think that the main reason that I’m bugged by not being able to finish my project is that it’s actually pretty exciting for me. It’s the first information product that I’m creating to sell rather than to give away. It’s essentially the final step in monetizing one of the other sites that I run which is basically an autopilot lead gen site with the SEO traffic that it’s receiving. It’s not going to make me rich but it’s definitely going to fleece my pockets with extra cash over an extended period of time.
I Need To Work
I have an absolute mental need to work on something at all times, I’m addicted to it. That’s one of my favorite things about making money online, I don’t need to go anywhere special to work. Now since I’m on vacation there’s not a whole lot I can really do except write, anything else is just going to end up getting frustrating (just like I told you about earlier). So I decided to check out what there was available for work on oDesk (a freelancing site).
I bid on about 5 jobs that seemed like they were going to be my style. I’m not desperate to work for someone else but unless the money and project are right. So far I’ve only received a couple messages about regarding my bids, I haven’t been awarded any projects quite yet. However if you did need to make some money there’s definitely some great opportunities on oDesk for you. I actually generally use it to hire writers when I need some SEO articles written and don’t feel like doing them myself, I mean when you can get decent quality articles for a couple bucks where else are you going to go? It’s even cheaper than Fiverr!
Blogging Feels Good
One of my favorite things about having a blog is being able to write about anything I want. I know there’s not too many people out there that want to hear me complain about becoming frustrated about not being able to work on the project that I want to, but you always have the choice to hit the back button 
. Being able to write is definitely therapeutic though & if you haven’t tried it then I definitely encourage you to try it.
